Getting Started with OneSearch

A guide to using Velma K. Waters Library's OneSearch discovery tool to find research resources.

What is OneSearch?

OneSearch is a research tool and search interface that allows East Texas A&M University (ETAMU) students, faculty, and staff to find and access books, eBooks, articles, video, and other resources that Velma K. Waters Library owns and within the majority of databases available through our institution.

To use OneSearch, visit the Waters Library homepage (link opens in a new window).

How to Access OneSearch

There are three main ways to access the library's website and OneSearch (all links open in new windows).

  1. Visit the Library's homepage (consider bookmarking this link in your browser for convenience).
  2. Sign in to myLEO and select the Library app in the apps tab.
  3. Visit the University's homepage and select "Library" from the Academics tab at the menu at the top of the page.

Note: accessing the Library from the University homepage will prompt you to log in using your myLEO or SSO credentials at the start of your session rather than at the point when you access an online resource.
