Marketing & Consumer Research

Branding & Promotion Strategy

Branding and promotion are both marketing activities. Branding is a practice in which a company creates a name, symbol, or design that is easily identifiable as belonging to the company. Brand is built to be a true representation of who a business is, and how they wish to be perceived. Promotions refer to the entire set of activities, which communicate the product, brand, or service to the user or consumer. The idea is to make people aware, attract and induce to buy the product, in preference over others.

Branding and promotion strategy for companies can be found on company websites, company SEC 10-K Fillings, in Market Research reports, social media outlets, and business articles.
