Getting Started with OneSearch

OneSearch is a research tool and search interface that allows East Texas A&M University (ETAMU) students, faculty, and staff to find and access books, eBooks, articles, video, and other resources that Velma K. Waters Library owns and within the majority of databases available through our institution.

Resources & Services for Online Learners

The purpose of this guide is to introduce the resources and services available to remote users.  In it, you'll find links for technical assistance, library workshops and tutorials, e-resources, and ways to connect with a librarian.

Resource Evaluation

Conducting academic research requires critically assessing the credibility, relevance, and reliability of information sources, making it essential to use an evaluation tool for validation. This LibGuide introduces users to the SIFT method, aiding in effective information discovery.

Plagiarism

Avoiding plagiarism is crucial in academic research because it ensures the integrity and originality of your work and gives proper credit to the original authors.  Our Plagiarism LibGuide will help you learn how to properly cite sources, avoid academic dishonestly, and uphold integrity in your work.

Credo Information Literacy

Credo's Information Literacy is a set of online videos, tutorials and quizzes to help students learn how to find relevant and reliable library and other research materials, as well as assist with formulating appropriate, workable research questions.
