What to Expect

The Library is excited to announce that Monday, March 10 is the official start date for the 1st Floor Renovation project!

During the next several months the 1st floor will be transformed into a welcoming and inviting space for the ETAMU community. Not only will the first floor get a facelift with new flooring, ceiling, and paint, we will also be adding comfortable furniture, study tables and chairs, and new spaces with technology for large and small group study and presentations.

As a reminder, the library building and all services in the library will remain open and accessible during current operating hours for the duration of the project.

Keep checking back here for future updates and coming soon…  The concept art for the finished look of the project!

Big changes are coming to the library (January 24, 2025)

Big Changes are happening at Waters Library!

You've probably noticed by now that there have been some big changes in Waters Library and you may be wondering why. We are getting ready for the renovation of the first floor coming soon.

In preparation for the first floor renovation, all Library services have been relocated to the second floor. This includes the Information Desk, Research Help Desk, Computer Lab, Printing & Scanning, and Laptop Kiosks.

Don't worry, the Waters Library building will remain open and operational during the renovation and you will be able to access all floors, departments, and services located on the first floor, including Starbucks.

Stay tuned for an official start date and updates!
