About Acquisitions
Acquisitions is part of the Library's Resource Acquisition and Discovery department and is responsible for the acquisition of monographs for Waters Library. Acquisitions locates, orders, receives and pays invoices for all monographs, in both print and eBook, selected for Waters Library.
Acquisitions manages donations of gifts-in-kind and works with subject librarians in the de-selection (weeding) process. More information on these processes is included in our Collection Development policy.
